2017 Business of the Year

"...From the initial stages of planning and budgeting, Scott and his crew were helpful and knowledgeable, always willing to go the extra step to insure that all parties understood the decisions at hand.  Their time and attention to detail early on proved invaluable as the project was completed on-time and under-budget.  Throughout the renovation process, the Stryker team was vested in the success of the project and genuinely interested in how a solid construction process would ultimately impact the ease and efficiency healthcare services would be provided to the underserved. That kind of concern is rare and speaks to the community-mindedness for which this local, family-owned business is known for.  Outside of "regular business" activities, it is not uncommon to find the Stryker name attached to good projects that benefit the community." - Storm King Distillery, on nominating Stryker & Company, INC for 2017 Montrose Chamber of Commerce 2017 Business of the Year.

Center for Mental Health Chief Financial Officer Lance Lehigh praised Region 10 and the assistance of Stryker Construction, the entities’ mutual contractor, whose work he called “integral” to the process and “the catalyst.”- Katharhynn Heidelberg is an award-winning journalist and the senior writer for the Montrose Daily Press.
“Scott Stryker is kind of this unsung hero of Montrose,” Rosty said. “Whenever businesses or nonprofit organizations want to build something or have plans, they all call Stryker. Scott himself will come out and walk through a project, and he never considers any of that a waste of his time. His business’ fingerprints are essentially all over Montrose.”
