Our Story
Built in Montrose, For the Western Slope
Founded in 2015, Stryker & Company is a family-owned commercial contractor building government, medical, affordable housing, and commercial projects across the Western Slope. From day one, we’ve led with communication and accountability so every project stays on time and on budget.
Our Philosophy
Every Gear Matters
Every person on a Stryker project, ownership, field crews, clients, architects, and trade partners, has to work together for it to succeed. These six values shape how we communicate, make decisions, and take care of the people who depend on us. We run on a no-ego philosophy: every person is an essential gear, and doing things right the first time is what makes a finished project something our neighbors can rely on for years.

Our Culture
Community, Communication, Teamwork
The people on our jobs are the people we see at the grocery store, the ball field, and the Christmas parade. That shapes how we work. We take time to thank the subcontractors who build alongside us, we bring families together for holiday gatherings, and we keep the same crews together long enough to know each other well.

Our commitment extends beyond the jobsite. We prioritize working with local subcontractors and suppliers whenever possible, keeping project dollars in the communities where we work and supporting the businesses that help our region thrive. We also invest in the next generation of construction professionals through our developing partnership with Colorado Mesa University's construction program.
