Our Team

Brings 29 years in commercial construction and 11 years with Stryker & Company. Holds a B.A. in Business Marketing from Colorado State University, passed the National Standard General Building Contractor Exam, and holds a Class A license. On what he enjoys most: “I enjoy the process of getting a new client or new project from ‘discussion’ to reality. Sometimes this takes years but it’s very rewarding to see clients’ dreams come true.”

Kristi is the co-owner and head of proposals at Stryker & Company. Her background as a graphic artist has helped fuel the creative side of the company, and her attention to detail, love of organization, and passion for building efficient systems have had a wide-reaching effect across the business. She grew up around construction and development, raised by a home builder and a real estate broker, and returned to Montrose after college. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, mountain biking, and spending time with her family.

Brings 23 years in commercial construction and 3 years with Stryker & Company, with a background in high-end residential work. Before construction, he served as a U.S. Marine Corps Scout Sniper Team Leader and Close Combat and Small Arms Instructor. His work has included the Montrose County Historical Courthouse and Montrose County Health and Human Services. On what drives him: “Sweat dries, blood clots, bones heal. Always maintain a positive mental attitude.”

Brings 26 years in commercial construction and 8 years with Stryker & Company, including 6 years in development. Holds a BS in Construction Science and Management from Kansas State University, is OSHA 30 certified, ASHE Health Care Construction certified, and holds a Class A license. His project experience includes the San Miguel Park & Ride, River Valley Health Care, Delta Human Services, Artspace Space to Create Housing, the BLM Montrose District Fire House, and the Rathbone Hotel.

Brings 4 years in commercial construction and 4 years with Stryker & Company, following 12 years as an oil and gas stationary equipment design engineer and 4 years as an engineering instructor. Holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Philippines and has completed 30 units toward an MS in Mechanical Engineering. Her project experience includes the Montrose Historic Courthouse, Montrose County North Campus, and the Rathbone Hotel. On what matters to her: “Life is better when your work inspires you and your family supports you.”

Brings 35 years of accounting experience, including 20 years in government contracting, and 7 years with Stryker & Company. Holds a BS in Finance and Accounting from the University of South Carolina.

Brings 27 years of professional experience, including 8 years supporting an insurance broker, and 9 years with Stryker & Company. Holds an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science / Legal Secretary studies.

A recent graduate with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management. On what she loves about the company: “The company culture!”

Brings 12 years in commercial construction and 2 years with Stryker & Company, with a background in K-12 school construction and renovation, multi-family, and water/wastewater distribution and collection construction. Holds a BS in Leadership Development with a Construction Science focus from Texas A&M University. His project experience includes the Montrose Veterans Memorial and Montrose County North Campus. On his approach: “Good estimating means catching issues early, when they’re ink on the plans, not iron in the field!”

Brings 12 years in commercial construction and 2 years with Stryker & Company, with 7 years of experience in plumbing and pipefitting and 2 years in ministry work, through a UA apprenticeship. His project experience includes MCNC, MSS, and Paonia K-8. On what he values: “Faith, Family, and dumb questions are all welcome here.”

Brings 5 years in commercial construction and 2 years with Stryker & Company, with a background spanning architecture, marine construction, and federal government contracting. Holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design. His project experience includes the Black Canyon Golf Clubhouse, a Goodwill location, San Miguel Power Association, and Paonia K-8 School.

Brings 19 years in commercial construction and 4 years with Stryker & Company, with a background in manufacturing and small business. Holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the Philippines and an Associate’s in Civil Engineering Technology from Asheville, NC. His project experience includes the Montrose Clerk & Recorder Renovation, Delta Community Safety Center, and The Village on San Juan. On his approach: “Integrity is the discipline of aligning my actions with my principles.”

Brings 32 years in commercial and residential high-rise construction and 5 years with Stryker & Company, with prior experience on overseas Federal Navy and Army Corps of Engineers facilities and 19 years in structural, architectural, and civil estimating. Holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Mapua University in the Philippines. His project experience spans the Delta County Courthouse renovations, Heartland Dental Clinic, Mesa Verde HVAC Upgrade, and the Stryker & Company office, among others. On his outlook: “Waking up every morning is a Blessing. Enjoy Life to the fullest.”

Brings 30 years of construction experience, including 10 years with Stryker & Company, with an earlier background in industrial and agricultural work. His project experience includes the Montrose Historic Courthouse, Velocity Car Wash, and Montrose Rotary Amphitheater. On his approach: “Check it twice, make it Nice!”

Brings 34 years of construction experience, including 9 years with Stryker & Company, with a background spanning residential construction, power plants, and landscaping. His project experience includes Montrose County North Campus, Artspace to Create Housing, the BLM Montrose District Fire House, Telluride Tire, and Delta Community Safety Center. On what he’s learned: “Don’t forget that you are never too old to learn. Remember, Team isn’t spelled with an ‘I.’ Don’t look at your project as an individual effort, but as a group with a common goal.”

Brings 18 years in commercial construction and 4 years with Stryker & Company, with 22 years of prior experience in civil, residential, and multi-family construction. Holds a Class A National Standard Contractors license and certifications in lead asbestos abatement, NFPA Fire and Life Safety, and mold remediation. His project experience includes the Rathbone Hotel, Montrose County Clerk and Recorder, and the City of Montrose Chamber. On his standard: “Let’s do it right, it’s in the details.”
