Stryker & Company built CASA – The Village on San Juan, a 45-unit affordable housing community on a 7-acre site, complete with a clubhouse and community center. The $11 million project included extension of all utility infrastructure for the development and the heavy civil work of creating a new subdivision, roadway construction, grading, drainage, and coordination with the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), along with site concrete, asphalt paving, and landscaping.
What Made This Project Different
- Delivered 45 affordable housing units and a community clubhouse on a 7-acre site
- Managed full subdivision-scale civil work, including roadway construction and CDOT coordination, alongside vertical construction
- Solved a late-stage site drainage and landscape-irrigation water meter sizing issue, replacing two water meters and their main-line connections in the final month to keep the irrigation system functional at turnover
